PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: In collaboration with Prime and IBM, the contractor will deliver comprehensive end-to-end data center managed services for NOAA's National Weather Service (NWS) NCEP Central Operations (NCO). This includes overseeing compute, storage, and networking infrastructure for the Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP) and Compute Farms (CFs). By partnering with private sector experts, the Government can focus on its core missions while benefiting from advanced, professionally managed data center solutions.
Statement of Work: Provide support to the IBM and NCEP to provide Management Support for the following:
· Test various Images and keep track of Vulnerabilities found and work through resolution. Manage the tasks to develop a Gold Image for Linux and Windows
· Manage the NCEP Storage task order to create profiles for Storage System access and review current permissions and apply least privilege required and manage implementation of it
· Manage the task of migrating applications on IBM AIX OS to RHEL OS
Job Responsibilities: · Working with the team to keep track of Images developed and tested
· Provide expertise in documenting and guiding the teams to get to an effective Gold Image for Linux and Windows OS
· Conduct daily meetings with Security teams to keep the task of building the Image on track and provide guidance
· Work with IBM Storage SA's to implement least privilege to user profiles
· Manage and direct teams on migrating Applications running on IBM AIX to RHEL.
Job Requirements: · Candidate must be local to College Park, MD / No remote work allowed.
· 8 – 12 years of experience managing projects
· PMP required · Microsoft Project Plan experience required
· Must have managed multiple concurrent projectsMust be a U.S citizen
Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of FISMA requirements for systems security
