Job Description·
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
•7+ years of experience in application support
•Expert in performance monitoring and capacity management of enterprise systems using various tools
•4+ years of Hands-on experience with Public Cloud-based applications, technologies and tools, deployment, monitoring, and operations, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, etc.
•Experience with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, least privileges policies, data protection, encryption, certificates, and key management
•Experience with networking technologies such as VPCs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and web standards (REST APIs, security mechanisms, etc.)
•Experience with WebLogic or similar application server technology administration
•Extensive experience with working on Linux servers and shell scripting for process automation
•Experience in RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies
•Change management and Incident management process
Desired Characteristics:
•Technical engineer with extensive experience in solving challenging issues in high stress environment
•Excellent communicator, works well in a team environment, and welcomes challenges
•Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate the latest information and understand complex topics
•2+ years of experience in Real Time Applications
•2+ Apache Cassandra or similar NoSQL database technologies
•Experience in DevOps, CICD processes and technologies
•Knowledge of VMware and other virtualization platforms
•Must be committed to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment
•Global support experience
•Oil and Gas experience is desired

App Ops /w Linux&Cloud
•Providing technical application support for enterprise-level systems
•Deploying application upgrades/patches in production and test environments
•Troubleshooting application alerts from monitoring tools and performing RCAs
•Building and maintaining AWS/Azure public cloud infrastructure for application platforms
•Participating in Capacity planning, system performance monitoring, resource utilization trending and incident and change management
•Co-ordinating with various on-prime and cloud infrastructure partners for Server, Network, Database, service-related incidents, and projects
•Writing tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the customer community and knowledgebase articles and keep them up to date
