Responsibilities Track software status in Jira coordinating with overseas team Manage embedded engineering version control and CI/CD pipeline Research technical questions related to embedded system development Manage software distribution of firmware and software packages to customers Analyze schematics, bills of materials, and PCBs for design conformance Support final assembly, testing, and packing (FATP) Support sales engineering About the job You must be a US citizen to apply Position is based out Portland, Oregon with travel (less than 25%) Schedule requires availability from 1:30 pm to 9 pm Pacific time M-Th Hybrid workplace with 80% home and 20% field/travel Salary range of 80-110K depending on experience Skills required Computer engineering (CE) degree or double major in computer science (CS) and electrical engineering (EE) Bilingual speaker, reader, and writer of Mandarin ( native or HSK advanced) and English (native CEFR C2, or TOEFL advanced) Excellent verbal and written communications and understanding of markdown & Microsoft products Linux embedded and single-board computing (SBC) operating system use and software development Embedded C/C++ development using version control and build tooling High-speed PCB design and ability to interpret and analyze related electronics schematics and bills of materials For recent graduates, a GPA of 3.5 or otherwise 2 to 4 years' relevant, full-time, paid work experience Preferred skills Proven experience in managing CI/CD pipelines and build environments that include Docker Image signal processing (ISP) experience in v4l2, gstreamer, libcamera, and related technologies Experience supporting final assembly, testing, and packing (FATP) of electronics products Experience with drone-based sensors and systems Other job requirements Frequent medium lift work (11-25 pounds) & occasional heavy lifting work (25-70 pounds) Home office or work area that allows you to work on and secure small drones and associated equipment Valid driver license and ability to travel
