Cancer Infusion Center Full Time Day Mon-Fri 9A-7P, 4 shifts per week, w/e & holiday on rotation Salary Range: $105,216- $145,113 Under the general direction of the Nurse Manager and Infusion Center Coordinator, the Infusion Center Registered Nurse provides direct patient care. The Registered Nurse collaborates with patients, family/significant others, peers, physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. The Infusion Center Registered Nurse assesses patient's needs, plans care, implements and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the hospital and Infusion Center philosophy, policies/procedures and standards. He/she demonstrates a great deal of flexibility, leadership/management skills and a commitment to professional accountability and growth.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York registration or eligible for licensure (interim permit) Knowledge of current nursing, medical and health trends and practices in rendering of patient care BCLS certification through the American Heart Association is required Three years RN experience is preferred Chemotherapy RN experience preferred Successful completion of Chemo-Bio course preferred Successful completion of Department and Unit Orientation Programs Clinical proficiency
