Supports the mold setup of Injection Mold Tooling.Responsible for material changes, mold transportation, installation, setup/startup within estabilished validated
parameters, line clearances where applicable and cleanup of area and equipment.Delivers material to appropriate molding operations and reporccesses scrap from
molding.

This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company
documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
Follows outlined procedures, safety guidelines, and ensures quality and cost standards are met in order to maintain the company's competitive position in the
marketplace. Operates pallet jack, forklift, and other material handling equipment.This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all
applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems
Regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes).
Perform all duties within applicable requirements established for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, company or departmental policies and procedures.
Perform Line Clearance as required. Maintains neat and orderly work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards.Meets all quality, quantity, and good
manufacturing practices to satisfy customer and Regulatory Affairs requirements.
Compiles and maintains production paperwork and documentation as required for assigned shift and machines.
Performs basic troubleshooting on machinery and/or feeding systems. Operates fork truck and pallet jacks for material movement.
Work with the Tool Room with respect to mold preventative maintenance program. Blends material, weighs up resins, delivers material to machines, purges
machines.
Operates grinders and/or blenders to reduce waste and monitor material consistency to meet QC specifications for reuse or resale.
Adjust equipment in accordance with, and within established process parameters, to ensure attainment of production rates and quality specifications.
Responsible for the safe and effecient material changeovers and injection mold set up, removals and processing as assigned by the Production Supervisor.May
load and monitor computerized material feeding systems on multiple molding machines.
Quals--
Secondary Education (High School) required.
Vocational technical or trade school experience preferred.
One to two years technician experience in a similar molding operation, preferably with experience on 33 to 350-ton equpiment. Additional experience as
automated machine operation helpful.
Computer literate to a degree allowing the entry and retrieval of process information contained within the Mattec system.
Must be familiar with the differences between basic resin types operations and troubleshooting of molding and auziliary equipment.
Good hand eye coordination and must be mechanically inclined.
Ability to read and interpret typical component specifications and prints.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Solid math skills and measurment knowledge.
