Join our team as an Injection Molding Production Supervisor. This position is ONSITE based in Rosemount. Shift: Thursday: 12 am - 6 am, Friday - Saturday 6 pm - 6 am, Sunday 8 pm - 6 am What You Will Do: Create a culture of Safety and accountability around all Teams as well as individual work assignmentsAdhere to all quality standards within the departmentPlans and supervises the daily activities in manufacturing area for a shiftAssures production output support the production scheduleAssures production output meets all applicable quality requirementsPerform human resource tasks such as recruiting, performance management, training and development, recognition, time management, and corrective actionMonitor manufacturing area supplies and equipment; initiate purchasing requests as neededChampion the principles of Proto Excellence by identifying and perusing opportunities for improvementPromote the concepts of 5S by maintaining clean & organized work areas with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, & utilizationEnsure assigned staff are qualified and appropriately trained for assigned workEvaluates employee performance and opportunities for improvementContinually seek to improve work processes & individual performanceAdhere to all company policies & operational proceduresPerform additional tasks as assigned What It Takes: 5+ years of manufacturing/warehouse/distribution experience4+ years of relevant manufacturing supervision/lead experienceAssociates degree in a related field preferred Bonus Points For: INJECTION MOLDING - Previous experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is preferred, e.g., processing, setups What's In It For You: We offer amazing benefits including but not limited to:Health Insurance: Traditional OR High Deductible planFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings Account (including employer contributions)Dental and VisionBasic and Supplemental Life InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityPaid caregiver leaveYou will receive at least 3 weeks of PTO, Holiday Pay, and Volunteer Hours401k with company match and immediate vestEmployee Stock Purchase Program at a discounted rateMatching grants through Protolabs foundationAnd More! While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear.

Work Environment:

Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions.
However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required.
Occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
