Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist – John George Psychiatric Hospital

AHS is seeking full time, Inpatient adult Psychiatrists in the San Francisco Bay Area. John George is conveniently located just south of Oakland and San Francisco is just a short drive away. The department's mission is to provide the best comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to adults with mental illness in Alameda County. 
AHS offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, which include the following:
For full time physicians working on inpatient unit: base salary of: $363,600.10 Annual PTO: 25 days/year 10 annual Holidays: 10 Sick leave Annual CME hours: 64 hrs. Health, dental and vision insurance for employee and family. Paid California medical licensure Fees Membership into ACERA pension program (for full-time staff) Voluntary deferred compensation plans: the AHS 403(b) Plan and the AHS 457(b) Plan. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathic medicine with an MD or DO. Required Licenses/Certifications: Valid CA License to practice Medicine and Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. ***Other available psychiatry positions at AHS (please search postings on this site for 'John George Psychiatric Hospital') 1. Full time and part time positions for psychiatric emergency services.
2. SAN positions for weekend/holiday coverage on inpatient and psychiatric emergency services (PES).
3. SAN positions for night coverage in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES).
*Current Psychiatry residents enrolled in ACCGME accredited residency program can apply for SAN positions.
