Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner

An established health system based in eastern Massachusetts is now seeking an experienced Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner to join their award-winning care team. Known as a regional leader in psychiatric medicine, this inpatient center provides comprehensive treatment to patients with substance use disorders and various mental illnesses. This facility boasts two inpatient acute psychiatric units and full-service stabilization services. The team specializes in group and individual therapies, medication effectiveness evaluation, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, discharge planning, and family support. Reporting the the Medical Director, the Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will evaluate medical and psychosocial conditions, develops and monitors treatment plans, and works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary acute care team. The Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will see an average of 10 or more patients and will work Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays. What s Needed to Succeed: Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current license as a Nurse Practitioner Prior working experience is a plus!
