*$8,000 Sign On Bonus* *Supervision Offered* As a Therapist at Glenwood Hospital, this pivotal role is designed to support individuals and families through their mental health journeys.
This role requires a compassionate, skilled professional committed to delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic services.
You will apply a range of techniques and interventions to address emotional and behavioral disorders, tailoring treatment plans to the unique needs of each patient.
Salary Range: $60,000-70,000k
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct social history assessment of the patient through observation and patient/family interview, obtaining information on the patients needs, skills, interests and limitations for the development and implementation of the treatment plan.
Coordinate and plan programs and activities to meet patients social and emotional needs.
Promote recovery, symptom reduction and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning.
Provides crisis management and family sessions to assist the family in understanding the implications and complexities of a life situation and its impact on lifestyle.
Assist in the development of effective treatment plans that apply therapeutic principles appropriately while ensuring safety at all times for the patient.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meeting to discuss patient assessment, treatment plan and ongoing discharge plan.
Communicate or aid family members in understanding and supporting the patient.
Manage a caseload and assume responsibility for patient chart documentation.
Facilitate education, process groups, support groups and referrals as requested.
Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.
When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
OTHER FUNCTIONS: Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Clincial Field One or more years experience working with patient population preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: State licensure as one of the following: LSW, LPC, LPCC, LISW CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
