Job Title: Inside Sales Colony Tire is currently seeking a full-time Inside Salesman to join our team! Our salesmen work for competitive, unlimited pay. Summary: Inside Sales personnel are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to customers/potential customers by selling tires, road hazard and recommended services, benefits and product features, create long-term loyalty bonds with customers, drive sales and profitability of the store, and maintain a clean store; as well as other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities: Greet customers and determine what each customer wants or needs in person and over the phoneRecommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customersCompute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions and policies regarding payment and exchanges.Maintain records related to sales in the Point of Sale (POS) softwarePlace special orders or call other stores to find desired items.Be available to drive guest vehicles. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Communication - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Talking to others to convey information effectively.Customer and Personal Service - Including but not limited to customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Sales and Marketing - Including but not limited to marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.Time Management - Managing one's own time.Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people. Work Environment: The job is typically performed in an indoor environment however exposure to outside weather conditions is not uncommon. The employee may be required to stand for long hours while working at the service counter, stools may or may not be available. The employee must regularly move or handle merchandise through the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one (1) year related experience in tire sales is preferred but not required. A two or four year college degree is also preferred but not required.
