Job Summary Responsible for inspecting machined components to identify potential areas of concern to ensure compliance with customer engineering and contract specifications.  
Note: Attention to detail is critical in this position. A successful candidate should be able to point to experience or other evidence of proficiency in this area.


Job Responsibilities Read blue prints, work orders, special instructions and other support documentation to perform inspections.Inspect and verify parts received from subcontractors, processing, and internal production parts.Perform conductivity and hardness testingUse precision measuring equipment (such as micrometers and calipers) Buy off on orders.Regularly interact with internal engineering, supply chain and contracts personnel.Operate coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to inspect parts (preferred)Operate Laser Radar and other electronic measuring systems (preferred)Perform other inspection activities as assigned Job Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School or completion of GED2+ years of inspection experience.1+ year of experience reading blueprints1+ year of experience using dimensional inspection tools, including micrometer gauges Desired Qualifications: Ability to inspect complex aircraft metal components, such as bulkheads.Ability to create and complete AS9102 Inspection Report (First Article Inspection Report)At least two years of prior experience with coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and use of PCDMISExperience with Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingExperience with Enovia in CATIA to interrogate modelsProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint We'll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
