And we're driven by our Mission to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life for millions of people worldwide. At Medtronic, we push the limits of what technology can do to make tomorrow better than yesterday and that makes it an exciting and rewarding place to work.  We value what makes you unique.  Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.In this exciting role as an Inspector I, you will be responsible for visually inspecting, testing, and verifying incoming components and materials per documented work instructions for quality assurance.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic components, computer equipment, precision plastic components or mechanical units for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.Work using Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and some others.Must Have: Minimum Requirements0 years of experience requiredNice to HaveKnowledge of basic mathComputer knowledge and experience (Word, Excel, Systems)Experience working in a warehouse setting.Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbsDetailed orientedAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
