Insight Global is looking for someone to join their Precious Metals and Minerals division for a top client in New York.
This person will be responsible for carrying out and/or supervising the inspection, weighing and sampling of various commodities to pre-defined standards and scope of works, using the appropriate methods advised by the administration and Management.


Carry out inspections/verification of materials and products by both visual and mechanical methods as directed.
Adhere to and conform to internal safety, ethical, and internet and data security practices.
Produce and/or supervise the production of representative analytical samples from the nominated materials in accordance with company procedures and industry best practice.
Receive, control or dispatch (as directed) samples on behalf of Bureau Veritas and clients.
Produce written reports on all activities to an acceptable professional standard within the set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of sampling/inspection.

Required Skills & Experience
-General Education
-Flexibility with work schedule - hours for the time may change often and they need people that are able to work different hours.

-Ability to read and interpretate safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals are essential.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Associate's degree or higher within a science related field

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
