Vishay Precision Group is seeking an Inspector to ensure the quality and accuracy of products for our customers. The Inspector will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance standards are met and will be expected to work with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Produce, manufacture, inspect, and/or test strain gages and sensors per written processes or input from the Engineering staff. This includes bonding jobs and strain gage assemblies finished good items. Extensive work under the microscope is required along with excellent fine motor skills. Supports policies & procedure to promote continuous improvements to the quality of the product.
Responsibilities: Inspect products to assure accuracy and quality according to company standards Identify and report any product defects or discrepancies Work with other departments to improve product quality Maintain accurate records of inspections
Region:
North America REQUIREMENTS High Schoool Diploma or equivalent. A.A.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Technology a plus. Experience with microscope work and/or soldering would be beneficial. Good fine motor skills. Benefits of working as a Inspector in Wendell, NC:
