The Installation Lead will be on every job site, provide exceptional customer service, and install and/or repair products in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, company standards, and customer requirements. This position is a working position and the responsibilities listed in this job description are in addition to the Installation Team Member responsibilities. This position is responsible for planning and assigning work; implementing policies and procedures; increasing team member's skills and capabilities; and recommending improvements with regards to installation methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
What You'll Do: Oversee installationsBuild rapport with customers and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the installation processCoordinate and complete customer walkthroughsManage installers and subcontracted laborMaintain a professional, clean and organized job siteOversee worker productivity & compliance with quality standardsBudget time, multi-task & prioritize in order to meet established goals & deadlinesBe flexible & work effectively in a fast-paced environmentBe decisive & work well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delaysComply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesEnsure all team members comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policiesProvide employee coaching and developmentManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any timePhysical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedlyAbility to climb ladders to heights over 14 feetAbility to be on your feet all dayAbility to work in temperatures ranging from 10 degrees to 100 degrees indoors and outdoorsWhat You Need….. 3 years' experience working in an industrial or installation environmentMechanical aptitudeRead & understand blueprints, product drawings/details & building layoutsProper & safe operation of various hand/power tools including hammer drills, band saws, drills, reciprocating saws, impact guns, grinders, laser levels, etc.Be available to travel and stay at location assigned as requiredPrior construction or related project management experience is desirableExperience scheduling and supervising company installers is preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience in effectively communicating with and interacting with customers, trades, employee installation technicians and sales agentsAbility to manage, as well as inspect the quality of the jobs performed by subcontractors and employee installation technicians and hold them accountableTime management skills, along with multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem-solving capabilitiesDeliver great customer service and high-quality installationsAbility to pass a drug screen including Marijuana
