Instock Manager, Instock Management team, Hardlines, JPAmazon is looking for an experienced Instock Manager with a good track record in inventory or business analysis, finance or supply-chain management disciplines. This position is responsible for developing and executing cross-category level sales and inventory strategies to optimize availability and inventory turns. In this role, you will have ownership of leading initiatives that drive improvement of our procurement operations and inventory management mechanism. You will also build strong partnerships with business, system, and supply-chain-operations teams to drive towards common goals. The ideal candidate is who possess the ability to operate from a company-wide perspective and encourage cross-functional and cross-business project development with scalable process improvement, automation, and analytics.
Responsibilities: Plan and execute inventory as well as sourcing optimization strategies to increase sales, in-stock rates, cost saving, inventory turns and health for owned category.Analyze and manage own key performance indicators such as in-stock rate, demand forecast accuracy, procurement lead time, fill rate, inventory turns, and cost-to-serve.Develop and enhance SCM systems by cooperating and reviewing with system teams.Forecast and manage efficient inbound and outbound inventory flows and health including forecasting, purchasing, and removing unproductive inventory.Drive root cause analysis and reporting for operational/system issues, develop action plans, and lead projects with managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.Collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive purchasing-process improvements and automation with inventing and simplifying new operations and systems.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control.
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
