Nesco Resource is looking for CNC Instructors in Waterbury, CT. Instructor will be teaching CNC Operator skills (Mill & Lathe) in a trade school environment on a part-time basis. 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday- Friday. Hourly pay is $27.00/hour for right candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties: Manage, organize, and teach CNC Operation (Mill & Lathe) Create syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support course learning outcomes Ensure that students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus Responsible for utilizing diverse instructional strategies in response to student learning style Responsible for increasing student retention, success and completionRequired Education: Associate's Degree and CT Teaching Certificate preferred. Required Skills & Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Microsoft Office proficient. Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences. Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.Preferred Skills & Abilities Required: Experience: At least 5 years' work experience directly related to the teaching of CNC Machine Operation Mastercam (Mill & Lathe).
