Insurance Billing Representative - Medical

We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Billing Representative to join our team in a fast-paced medical office. This temp-to-perm role offers the chance to grow with a supportive and well-organized environment.
Job Title: Insurance Billing Representative
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Occasional early starts at 6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $20-21/hr
Key Responsibilities: Verify insurance coverage and payer details for patients, including handling primary and secondary insurance, pre-approvals, and co-payment information. Submit and follow up on claims, ensuring timely payments from insurance companies and resolving any issues with denied claims. Manage self-pay patient accounts, prepare statements, and coordinate with external collection agencies when necessary. Answer patient billing questions via phone and in person, providing clear and professional support. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 Years of Medical Billing experience Proficient in phone reception and email communication. Familiarity with Outlook and medical billing software Ability to work independently, stay organized, and be open to feedback.
