Insurance Customer Service Representative: JOB SUMMARY Provides full support to and acts on behalf of producer whenever necessary or requested. Markets accounts to approved insurers and wholesale brokers to provide the best combination of price, coverage and services for clients. Assists in achieving both team and Agency profitability goals and in attaining or surpassing Agency's carrier premium commitments. Delights clients with highest service levels at all times and acts professionally in the community.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER LICENSED AGENT'S SUPERVISION: 1 Proactively handles all service activity on assigned accounts to respond to both internal and external client needs in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a cordial business relationship
2 Identifies need for and processes all invoices, endorsements, attachments, all change requests, ID cards, certificates of insurance, finance quotes and agreements, binders; loss runs and drivers lists; follows up on notices of cancellation; compares policies received to applications to database for accuracy
3 Addresses all coverage, pricing and service concerns with clients, underwriters or brokers and follows through to completion
4 Reviews all policies and endorsements received for accuracy; identifies and addresses all discrepancies, whether in the policy or endorsement or electronic file. Delivers finalized policies. Takes appropriate action to correct any deficiencies and follows through to completion
5 Performs a review of each line of business in force to determine possible coverage gaps and recommends enhancements
6 Prepares and reviews submissions for accuracy and completeness of data. Advises producer or client of additional information required to prepare a complete submission, including supplemental applications, spreadsheets, etc., as required, for renewal
7 Submits accounts to viable markets and negotiates best coverage, price, terms and conditions assuring reasonable chance of profitability to the agency and company while providing the best coverage to suit client's needs regarding their exposures and pricing requirements
8 Compiles quotations, proposals, schedules of insurance and applications/required forms, and discusses with/presents to producer for final approval for presentation to prospect or client
9 Coordinates client service commitments such as loss control, claims review meetings, inspections, etc. Coordinates, prepares and reviews necessary documents in preparation of such meetings
10 Independently manages assigned Book of Business with high level of competency and exceptional service;
11 Proactively facilitates conversations with clients to learn more about client's insurance needs; educates clients about potential risk and offers additional products and services to help meet client's needs
12 Adheres to Claims handling procedures
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, carrier representatives and associates at all levels of responsibility
Excellent time management, organizational skills, the ability to handle pressure and prioritize workflow
Attention to detail and follow up, with strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
Solid technical ability to identify, create and present data critical to risk management consultation including a strong aptitude for interpretation of coverage forms
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic; dependable with attendance; able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize and work collaboratively as a key member of a client team
Customer service focused, high degree of professionalism, outgoing, friendly and engaging phone personality
Skilled in Microsoft Office
