This position is ideal for a legal professional with a proven track record in insurance defense or general liability litigation who is looking to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including case analysis, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and trial advocacy.Defend clients in general liability cases or other types of insurance defense matters, ensuring high-quality legal representation.Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers, providing strategic advice and updates.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence.Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings as required.Maintain compliance with the firm's 1850 annual billable hour requirement while delivering superior client service.Qualifications: Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.License: Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).Experience: Minimum of 3+ years handling insurance defense or general liability cases.
