Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Personal Lines Producer to join our commission sales team.
In this role, you will serve members of THE LOCAL Credit Union by offering customized insurance solutions for personal lines, including auto, home, and umbrella coverage.
This position presents a fantastic opportunity to grow your business while making a meaningful impact in our community.
We serve approximately 100,000 local members of local unions.
For the right person, this will be an unlimited opportunity as leads are provided.
Some calling appointment setting will be necessary, but our team assists in setting appointments for the producer.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with credit union members to identify their insurance needs.Generate new business through referrals, networking, and outreach within the credit union/union community.Conduct thorough assessments of client risks and recommend appropriate coverage options.Prepare and present insurance quotes, clearly explaining policy features and benefits.Collaborate with underwriters to ensure efficient processing and issuance of policies.Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues.Stay informed about industry trends and credit union offerings to enhance client service.Achieve and exceed personal sales goals through proactive outreach and relationship management.Qualifications: Proven experience in insurance sales, particularly in personal lines.Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and services.Valid Michigan Property and Casualty License (required).
