Our growing company is looking for a results-driven Insurance Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations by guiding and leading staff serving as a leadership point person.
Responsible for monitoring productivity and promoting timely completion of billing functions.
Promotes expertise in for billing practices by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of payer compliance practices, providing necessary education and feedback as necessary.
The manager defines and provides the necessary support and leadership to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
This position is responsible for personnel development, implementing and maintaining business office policies and initiating disciplinary action.
The ideal candidate should have experience organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules, and ensuring quality compliance.
They must also possess strong communication and leaderships skills as well as the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively.

Key Accountabilities: Full working knowledge of billing and insurance collections and terminology: including government and non-government regulations for hospital and physician-based entitiesAssist in implementing best practices and processes to maximize revenue and collection abilitiesParticipate in problem solving for clients to best meet performance targetsParticipate in monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide insight to the daily operations, assure effectiveness, and guide continuous improvementEnsure projects meet and exceed client expectationsEscalate and communicate timely to appropriate leadership any issues and/or concerns related to the client performance, and internal staff performance and qualityParticipate in hiring and management of staff, overseeing competencies and performance expectationsCommunicates with leadership ensuring processes are properly managed and staffing needs are appropriately allocated to each projectParticipates in the preparation of month-end reporting to clientsCommunicate regularly with leadership regarding client performanceSupport and mentor team and staff using excellent interpersonal skillsModel company values on an ongoing basisUnderstand and comply with Company Handbooks, Policies, and ProceduresPerform other duties as assigned Competencies: Achieve the expected financial results, operating standards, service levelsMaintain excellent relationships with clients, vendors, and business partnersRepresent Meduit professionally with best-in-class service Success Measures: Departmental KPIs, design and use to maximize performanceClient performance, satisfaction, and profitabilityFinancial results Qualifications: Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED required.Associates or undergraduate degree preferred.2-5 years' experience: including appropriate healthcare transactions such as billing, insurance follow up, both government and non-government, hospital and physician, denials management, underpayments/zero payments, and other revenue cycle functions.Or, equivalent level of education and experienceOutstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal skills requiredDelegation skills and excellent organization skills Special Position Requirements: Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence and procedure manuals.
