The Intake Counselor assess the needs of potential patients and facilitates the admission process; maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.

Qualifications Education: Master's Degree in Human Service field (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.), or RN - preferably BSN.
Experience: 1-2years of experience preferred in psychiatric health care. Working knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental status exam, and addiction and recovery field.
Licensure/Certification: Licensed Louisiana RN, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, PLPCpreferred.
Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
