Position Overview:
As an Intake Screener, you will play a key role in our organization by screening intake details through telephone or face-to-face interactions with callers and clients.
Your role will involve being a helpful resource, gathering necessary information, entering data into the electronic medical record system, and providing updates throughout the screening process.
Scope of Responsibilities: Secure client information with professionalism and empathy.
Accurately enter client information and screening details into the electronic medical records system.
Maintain communication with referral sources and coordinate client appointments.
Record necessary statistics as outlined by the agency.
Demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities while maintaining a consistently professional demeanor.
Stay knowledgeable about community resources to provide alternatives when needed.
What You Bring: Ability to draw valid conclusions and offer solutions.
A commitment to assisting individuals with behavioral health and/or substance use disorders.
Proficiency in computer software for accurate data entry and familiarity with standard office equipment.
Outstanding customer service skills with a strong respect for confidentiality.
Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
