Position Objective:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Manager. Reporting to the Chief Communication and Marketing Officer (CCMO), this role plays a pivotal part in supporting our mission through strategic marketing communications initiatives. Essential Functions:
Media Relations:
Maintain and expand media contacts database using Salesforce.
Collaborate with the VP of Integrated Marketing Communications to cultivate relationships with media outlets nationwide.
Identify and research new media opportunities, including niche publications and trade platforms.
Events:
Assist in the coordination of events both remotely and on-site, including the preparation and distribution of promotional materials and media releases.
Provide on-site support for select events, including setup, breakdown, and media relations activities.
Occasional travel may be required.
Social Media:
Engage with our community through social media platforms, expressing gratitude for interactions and sharing messages.
Assist in implementing social media strategies across various platforms under the guidance of the CCMO.
Maintain lists of key volunteer accounts and foster engagement with relevant stakeholders.
Explore and establish new business relationships in the digital space.
Assist in monitoring social media analytics and identifying trends.
Internal Communications:
Support the optimization of our SharePoint site and related content libraries to ensure easy navigation and robust content.
Aid in the creation and distribution of internal newsletters.
Asana Project Management:
Assist in project management tasks, including project setup, monitoring, and meeting attendance.
Brand Management:
Collaborate with the CCMO to foster brand ambassadorship and maintain brand integrity across various channels.

Work Environment and Travel:
Position based in Port Washington, NY, with potential for remote work.
Collaborative and supportive team environment.
Approximately 30% travel required for events.
