We are currently seeking an Integration Specialist in our Rock Island (Quad Cities) office. The Integration Specialist is a member of the Finance and Accounting Merger & Acquisition Team (FAMA) that works in tandem with the Mergers and Acquisitions Synergy Group (M&A). It is an operational component of the Finance & Accounting Team (F&A). The position is responsible, in coordination with other F&A team members, for training and supporting the acquired firm's Client Executives (CE's) and Project Executives (PE's) in the IMEG way, throughout the integration process. As an integral member of the FAMA team, the position will also participate in other FAMA duties. The Integration Specialist streamlines financial processes, enhances accuracy, and optimizes overall efficiency of the Mergers and Acquisitions department. Some key duties and responsibilities include: Responsible for training members of acquired firms, including new CE's, PE's, and accounting staff, in IMEG operational processes and procedures. This includes initial training sessions as well as ongoing support/training Develop relationships with CE's and PE's to facilitate ongoing support and training, assuring that they gain a comprehensive understanding of how their Team will operate successfully within IMEG. This includes managing revenue expectations, billing projections and financial performance Responsible for training, and/or supporting the training of the acquired firm's accounting staff in IMEG operational process and procedures and in Vantage Point Responsible for working with the acquired firm's accounting staff to assess the acquired firms existing accounting and billing processes and how well they will convert to IMEG's processes. This includes identifying any of the acquired firm's client billing requirements that present unique challenges to IMEG's existing processes and staffing model relating to billing and/or reporting Lead coordination between FAMAA, Operational F&A, and Operations (if required) to find solutions to unique challenges and plan how these challenges will be addressed after the accounting conversion to Vantage Point Act as a liaison between Operational F&A, Finance Accounting F&A and FAMA to assist in a smooth transition Will be responsible for the timely and accurate input of payroll hours and the transfer of excess cash from the acquired firm's checking accounts is done on a consistent basis Will serve as the financial oversight for acquired firms. This role may include ensuring that the general ledger and financial statements of the acquired firm are prepared timely and accurately Assist with the migration of the acquired firms' data into IMEG's financial ERP. Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and project/client related material Key skills and abilities needed for the position are: Ability to confer financial concepts, information and ideas so others will understand Ability to adapt to varying learning styles Strategic thinker, ability to anticipate, identify and proactively address questions and challenges with minimal supervision Excellent analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid understanding of GAAP Proficient in MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook Skill in the use of computers spreadsheets and accounting software Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Ability to understand all accounting systems Ability to travel up to 30% with occasional overnight stays Education and experience requirements are: Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, equivalent work experience may be considered 5+ years of accounting and/or operational process accounting experience in a professional services firm, including knowledge of project management reporting Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements Experience with Quickbooks, and/or any of Deltek's programs Vision, Ajera and Vantage Point is preferred but not required So, what are you waiting for?
