Intellectual Property Associate Attorney09/21/2024Compensation: 165000.00 / AnnuallyOur client, a prestigious law firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their winning team in Boston.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in biological sciences and hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred; a Master's degree with substantial industry experience will be considered) along with a passion for intellectual property law.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Draft and prosecute patent applications in the field of biological sciences.Conduct IP due diligence and freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses.Assist in litigation support and post-grant proceedings as necessary.Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional service and innovative IP strategies.KEY REQUIREMENTS: Advanced degree in Biological Sciences (Ph.D. preferred; Master's with significant industry experience acceptable).Experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Familiarity with IP due diligence and FTO analyses.Some litigation and/or post-grant experience is beneficial.Registration with the USPTO is preferred.Prior experience in a law firm setting is a plus.Excellent academic record, superior organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and a creative, entrepreneurial perspective on IP.Please apply today to be immediately considered for the role!
