Intelligence Lead XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO). Our work depends on an Intelligence Lead joining our team to support unit commander's training objectives. Performs analysis associated with the Military Intelligence (MI) training development process. Must have knowledge of enemy/OPFOR unit missions/structures, intelligence systems, and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Provides analytical expertise on the different types of MI in support of mission command training. Prepares intelligence reports/assessments, builds briefing materials for supported MI training audience, and assists with construction Order of Battle products. Maintains working knowledge of various MI collection assets for US, friendly, non-hostile and enemy countries. Infers consequences of various situations and predicts future patterns and changes to current TTPs. Participate in special projects as required.
HOW AN INTELLIGENCE LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Serves as the lead for the intelligence team.Provides warfighting functional area training for MI individuals, sections, and staffs supporting the training unit commander by assisting the unit in developing specific training objectives supported by fielded intelligence simulations, IEWTPT, and emergent systems.Maintains routine coordination with the TRADOC G2 and Operational Environments (OE) Training Support Center (OE-TSC) to ensure OE produced for MI unit training maintain their relevancy, currency, and realism.Supports event OPORD package refinement as required by supported command J2/G2/S2.Integrates and validates all intelligence products required for collective training events.Delivers collective MI training events/exercises in accordance with the established MTC training program.Participates in event/exercise lifecycle management; planning, preparation, execution and recovery, AAR.Performs limited manual and non-manual work directly related to the general business operations of the MTC Director, as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW) and the MTC Director's customers, military units.Work is predominantly intellectual in character and requires the employee to consistently exercise discretion and judgment.Participates in special projects as required.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor's Degree, subject immaterial, or a background of at least six (6) years' experience within the intelligence war fighting function.Military Education: Graduate of Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or service equivalent.Required Experience: Successfully served as a Brigade S2, Division or Corps G2 or Analysis and Control Element (ACE) Chief. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years military staff experience, focused within the intelligence war fighting function. If no degree, minimum of 13 years of relevant experience required.Security Clearance: Requires a TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly, can start with a Top Secret but must be willing and able to upgrade clearance.Required Skills and Abilities:Extensive knowledge of MI functions/operations, systems, ISR mission requirements, training, and planning.Extensive knowledge of multi-source analysis from either regional or functional background/training to current and operational intelligence missions.Position requires experience in compartmented programs in DoD U.S. Intelligence Community.Duties require exercising discretion, independent judgment, and decision-making.Participates in and performs additional duties, special projects, emerging responsibilities as required/directed.Physical labor tasks require the ability to lift/carry 50 pounds and climb ladders to a height of 6 to 12 feet in height to configure network/power cabling.Location: Fort Stewart MTC. Normal work schedule is ******** , may require night, swing or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements.
