Interest Rate Derivatives Hedging Manager (Hybrid)

Overview: This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
This position oversees the Bank's interest rate derivative hedging program. Ensures hedging program aligns with financial goals and interest rate risk position established by Asset Liability Management framework. Responsible for analysis, reporting, and trade execution of interest rate derivative instruments as part of broader ALM and IRR strategy. Performs extensive modeling and analysis of interest rate risk exposures, including hedge documentation, valuation, and effectiveness testing. Monitors bank and market regulatory requirements and modifies strategies as needed. Strong engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Interest Rate Derivative Management – operate and enhance Bank interest rate hedging capabilities through detailed modeling, analysis, and market execution. Implement hedging strategies in concert with interest rate risk management strategies and execute transactions to achieve overall risk appetite and strategy. Engage with key stakeholders across Bank Treasury teams, as well as additional internal and external stakeholders. Reporting – Contribute to diverse and detailed oversight and monitoring environment. Serve as subject matter expert for Senior Management and stakeholder engagement through clear communication and reporting touchpoints. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Analysis – Detailed analysis on hedge positions and assist in hedge effectiveness testing. Market Expertise - Maintains a strong network with brokers in order to identify and leverage trading relationships. Strong understanding of trading requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Interest Rate Derivatives / Bank Treasury; bank interest rate risk management; bank liquidity management; fixed income analytics & market risk
