Responsibilities: As part of the interoperability department, works to establish interfaces for surgery center clients and their business partners. Interfaces are critical to client success with the HST platform and are implemented alongside a core HST product or post-implementation of our core products. Must be able to follow project plans and gain an understanding of business and information technology. Quality Assurance testing and application function verification may also be necessary when appropriate.
Commitment to Internal Control: The incumbent must understand, abide and uphold the system of internal controls related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the position in regard to documentation, tracking, and verification of end user acceptance.
Install and maintain interfaces for surgery center clients and their business partners.Proactively coordinate with internal teams, client IT teams, and HST vendors to obtain configuration information, coordinate and test interface installs.Identify areas of improvement to streamline interface implementations.Routinely manage and troubleshoot issues with live interfaces, and escalate issues to the development team as needed.Document interface install processes and process changes.Support QA efforts for interface products in conjunction with the product and development teams.Qualifications: Key Technical Knowledge and Skills: 2-3 years work experience in information technology, computer systems, computer science or related field.Working knowledge of interface/integration technology concepts (e.g. HL7, APIs, databases, client-server, querying software and communications protocols)Some experience with SQL is preferredExperience with Mirth and/or other healthcare data engine is a plusKey Professional Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management sillsOrganizing and managing workloads and backlogs in a fast-paced environmentSolid attitude for customer serviceStrong analytical and decision-making skillsAble to work independently and as part of a tightly integrated teamAbility to generate clear documentation with attention to detailEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred with three or more years of diversified technical support experience in a corporate environmentAssociates or Technical School degree with five or more years diversified technical support experience in a corporate environmentTeam Culture: We go beyond the expected.
