The Town of Lunenburg seeks qualified applicants for the position of Interim Town Manager.

The Town of Lunenburg, a community of approximately 12,000 located in North Worcester County, seeks a knowledgeable, and strong leader with excellent financial acumen, as well as strong budgeting, and communication skills to serve as its next Interim Town manager.
Job Duties

Reporting to the Select Board, the Interim Town Manager is responsible for:
Generally fulfilling the Powers and Duties of the Town Manager, as defined in section 4-1 and 4-2 of the Town Charter .
Qualifications

Candidates should have a proven record of municipal leadership, be practice and a strategic thinker, instill confidence and trust that contribute to a positive work environment and be able to build collaborative relationships with appointed/elected officials, business owners, residents, and employees.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree; a minimum of 5 years relevant municipal experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
The term of this appointment is anticipated to be 3-6 months. Salary is negotiable based upon qualifications.
