Interior Industrial Pipe Fitter

Sletten Construction is looking for an Interior Industrial Pipe Fitter to support current industrial construction projects in the state of Nevada. The Pipe Fitter is responsible for assisting the construction team with various pipe systems and other related industrial equipment.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret plans, blueprints and sketchesConstruct, lay out or plan piping assemblies with respect to walls, structures and other obstructionsConstruct various types of pipe joints for high or low-pressure systemsCut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of articles including but not limited to; ductile iron, steel, FRP, and C900Underground utility pipingProper assembly and joining of various pipe systemsSetting grade lasers and understand profile drawing and 1-linesCoordinate routing around existing buried utilitiesWork around heavy equipmentIndustrial Mechanical PipingDemo existing process piping systems and rework routingSetting of pumps and other related industrial equipmentLayout and installation of supports.Qualifications5 years previous Pipe Fitting experienceGood communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to read and understand blueprintsExperience with wastewater treatment plants is preferredAdditional InformationInitial project is located in Las Vegas, NVWork environment is a combination of outdoors and indoors
