You must be enrolled in an AAS in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or related field of study!As aFab Equipment Maintenance Technician Intern, you will gain a basic knowledge of the semiconductor fabrication process. Interns will be exposed tonew technologyand the equipment we use in the clean room environment to manufacture the world's leading memory solutions! Interns receive on-the-job training that includes safety and cleanroom protocol, preventative and corrective maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and our ongoing improvement programs.With knowledge gained, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional sub-teams to evaluate methods to optimize the efficiency of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Complete required safety training and conduct all workin accordance withsafety policies.
OJT on preventative/corrective maintenance and equipment. qualification procedures in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Receivetraining andparticipatein areacontinuous improvement programs.
Partner with operations technicians and shift engineers/technicians to complete daily priorities that improve learning cycles.
Providetroubleshooting support for equipment-related problems and address root causes.
Improve equipment availability by investigating chronic tool problems and finding solutions.
Maintain documentation on tool status, including observations and work performed.
Perform andfacilitateaudits andsubmitgood catches on safety and quality issues.
Education & Qualifications
Must be enrolled in an AAS in Mechatronics, Robotics, Engineering Technology, or related field of study.
Encouraged completion of degree between December 2025 and August 2026
Relocating to Boise, Idaho or Manassas, Virginia to complete a 3-monthinternship
Relocation to Boise, Idaho post-graduation!
Mechanicalproficiencywith the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
Knowledge of AC/DC circuits andbasic fundamentalsof electricity.
Intermediate PC skills
Veterans with prior service in any branch of the United States Military are encouraged to apply.
