Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life forall.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
The Facilities Technology Transfer Engineering (FTT) team is responsible to provide facilities engineering planning and support for deployment of technology transfer from Micron's Technology Development Fabs to Micron's High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) facilities around the globe. Includes but not limited to the following:
Facilities Systems analysis to support current/new technologies
Collaborate with HVM teams to ensure facilities readiness for new technologies introduction and ramp.
Identify new workstations and materials for TechNode (TN) transfer and prepare installation, operations and alignment documentation for the new items for successful transfer to HVM.
Calculate initial facilities cost of transition (CoT), identify cost reduction opportunities, and track cost over transfer timeline.
Initiate critical facilities specification alignment for each TN transfer and support HVM to identify mitigation options where misalignment identified.
Possible areas of focus for an intern would be:
Support FTT Engineers on TN Transfers via utility analyses and transfer documents, establishing methodology for quick alignment assessment and reporting
Critical facilities alignment for current TN transfers
Node over Node tool utility and material metrics for Technode transfer.
Create, develop and track metrics or alignment documentation: Facilities Release Document (FRD) and TI (Tool Release).
Collaborate with TD teams to support the TN transfers by learning workstations, semiconductor inputs/outputs and processes and facilities support systems.
