Intern- Quality Engineer

Work alongside the Research Technical Service Team to physically test aggregates, concrete, and asphaltic products, ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Strategic Priorities and business objectives.
Essential Job Accountabilities Comply, understand, and promote corporate and division safety initiatives to ensure "Safety before All Else."Perform field QA/QC sampling.Assist the Research Technical Service (RTS) team in ongoing research into mix design and testing for aggregate, asphalt, and concrete.Participate in Statistical Process Control (SPC).Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferably a current Civil Engineering, Engineering, Geology, or Statistics Student.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Possess a strong desire to work on a team, solve problems, and grow professionally.Excellent math and analytical skills.Ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel for testing purposes.Some knowledge of aggregates and Asphaltic Concrete is helpful.Other Comments: Positions require a valid CA Driver's License and clean driving record.

Salary will be determined based on the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Ranges are aligned with market data and/or collective bargaining agreement rates.
