Candidate will work alongside the System Architecture modeling team to explore AI/ML-related techniques and behaviors to support system-level modeling and simulation, which may include:
Automatic data extraction from device specifications for model configuration
Simulation parameter sweeping and performance optimization
Developing AI/ML workloads for simulation stimulus
Candidate requirements:
Experience or coursework in AI/ML
Proficiency with C++ programming, including STL
Proficiency in a scripting language, such as Python
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
SystemC experience
Computer memory systems, particularly DRAM memory operations
Exposure to GPUs and other co-processors typically found in multi-processor systems
Education requirements:
Currently pursuing a PhD in a computer architecture related program with an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
Must be continuing education in Fall of 2025
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$36.16 - $46.16
