We are currently searching for qualified candidates to join our team as a tax Intern for the spring or summer of 2025 in various Mariner locations. This paid intern will assist our staff members in servicing high net worth individuals with a focus on personal, Fiduciary, S-Corporation, partnership, private foundation, and gift tax returns. During the Mariner Internship Program, you will:
Be immersed in tax: Service clients as it relates to planning, and other projects. Develop professionally: Assist in the preparation of tax returns, income tax projections, estimated tax vouchers, extension forms, and other work supporting our clients. Foster connections: Grow your network as you meet with and learn from the tax team. Experience our 'Giving Back' culture: Engage with our Mariner Foundation through community involvement events. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2026.
• Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective in communicating to a variety of audiences both written and oral.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
