What You'll Do
Develop and execute internal communication strategies to ensure alignment with company goals and enhance employee engagement
Create, edit, and distribute content for internal newsletters, emails, intranet updates and other communication channels
Design and implement internal communication campaigns to support major company announcements and culture-building activities
Develop content ideas for deliverables such as infographics, presentations and videos to enhance communication effectiveness and reach
Collaborate with various stakeholders on communications projects and collateral creation and implementation
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in internal communications to ensure the company's approach remains innovative and effective
Participate in other projects and tasks as needed
Support and demonstrate IMA's core values
Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion among all IMA associates
You Should Have
Minimum 4 years of experience working in internal communications, public relations, or a related field
Experience supporting internal communications efforts including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Sales and/or Marketing
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related degree
Superior verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills
Ability to effectively organize material, distill complex ideas and write lively and appealing content in a variety of voices
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Project management skills and the ability to quickly shift priorities based on business needs
Well-honed interpersonal and relationship-building skills that facilitate strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including executive management
Expertise in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, intranet content management systems and digital signage software
Basic knowledge of video editing software
Ability to work independently regarding matters of significance
