Internal Controls Senior Analyst - 100% RemoteBuckingham Search - Chicago, IL, United StatesAn established healthcare company is looking to hire an Internal Controls Senior Analyst! This role can be 100% remote and will focus on the overall internal controls over financial reporting, as well as support special projects as the business continues to grow.
This is an exciting role to step into with a new growing team. The Manager is looking for really ambitious individuals who like to look at the big picture and enjoy implementing best practices around accounting policies.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) issued by a State Board of AccountancyWork Experience: Typically requires at least 2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and internal controls with a large, complex organizationIntermediate knowledge of US GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, PCAOB standards, and the COSO controls frameworkSignificant experience with internal controls over financial reporting and requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404Demonstrated strategic influence skills, tactical planning skills, time management skills, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate/collaborate effectivelyDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar productsDemonstrated ability to understand and analyze the underlying business and its implications on financial accounting and reportingDemonstrated ability in handling multiple priorities within tight time framesStrong leadership skills to initiate and drive process improvements and ability to influence othersSelf-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of carrying a project through to successful completion
