Internal Medicine Np/Pa

The Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant works closely with the supervising physician to coordinate a course of treatment for patients: perform histories, physical exams, perform therapeutic procedures, order labs, interpret lab results, provide patient education and facilitate referrals to specialists as appropriate. The Internal Medicine NP/PA will also educate patients on preventative care and will seek the assistance of a supervising physician as needed. Required Skills Demonstrated expertise in Internal Medicine: Knowledgeable of Internal Medicine Mid-Level scope of practice. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities. Independent performer. Required Experience Current California Physician Assistant license. Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant School. One to three (1-3) years direct patient care clinical experience. Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements.
