Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a Chief Quality Officer (CQO) & Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to drive excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, and value.
In this dual role, you will lead efforts to integrate quality improvement initiatives, develop a High Reliability Organization, and promote safe, evidence-based practices across the healthcare system.
As CMO, you will provide physician leadership, ensure effective clinical governance, and collaborate closely with hospital leadership to enhance patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead quality, patient safety, and improvement initiatives across the system.
Serve as the primary physician leader for clinical strategy, overseeing medical staff and ensuring the highest standards of care.
Collaborate with system leadership to develop a comprehensive quality and patient safety strategy.
Oversee clinical operations, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance.
Manage operational targets and budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources and staffing.
Drive innovation in clinical practices and patient outcomes through continuous improvement and collaboration with all stakeholders.
Qualifications: MD with board certification in Internal Medicine preferred or specialty.
Extensive experience in a quality executive role, preferably in academic medicine.
Proven leadership in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety.
Houston Methodist Willowbrook is located in Northwest Houston.
