Internal Medicine Physician with Nutrition / Procedural Specialization- Akron, OhioSumma Health is seeking board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine physician with specialization in nutrition, conscious sedation, and inpatient procedural practice and education.
The role is full-time 1.0 FTE (0.5 Nutrition, 0.4 Procedure/Sedation, 0.1 Simulation Lab).
The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System.

As the lead for our inpatient and outpatient parental nutrition service, the candidate will direct the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with malnutrition, malabsorption, and other medical disorders.
This entails:
Coordination with inpatient and outpatient pharmacies and care coordinatorsTPN adjustment due to laboratories and product shortagesManaging access placement, maintenance, and replacementChairing of Summa's Health Nutrition CommitteeProcedural Team Within the Division of Critical Care Medicine, the physician would lead a Procedural Team.
This entails:
