International Freight Forwarding Account Manager Location Dublin, OH : Job Overview: Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an International Freight Forwarding Account Manager for our growing Freight Brokerage Division located in Dublin, OH. As an International Freight Forwarding Account Manager, you will be responsible for retaining and developing existing business by leveraging strong relationships with assigned accounts. You will be responsible for understanding the customer's business, P&L management, solutions development, and supply chain strategies; ensuring that all operational requirements are proactively identified and addressed with the appropriate company resources. You will also be expected to support new sales developments through pricing, adding expertise, and seamless onboarding of new clients. Schedule and Compensation: Monday through Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Details: Responsibilities: Serve as the point of contact for all account management matters. Leverage relationships and opportunities with customers to increase revenue and profitability for Legacy. Lead business reviews with customers and drive all action plans needed to improve results. Solicit additional projects and short-term projects to grow revenue when available. Ability to proactively communicate issues both internally and externally to maintain positive results for assigned accounts. Negotiate rates with customers, sales, internal operations, and external providers to maintain profitability expectations. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Rate Quoting to assigned customer and potential new customers. Entering new opportunities into sales force and management opportunity life cycle Understanding customer needs and in turn creating solutions development to drive growth with identified targets. Meet with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and budgeted/targeted revenue & profitability is being met. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors. Clearly communicated the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Forecast and track key account metrics. P&L management of assigned customer. Act as Customer Advocate and provide day to day management of relationships through Business Reviews, weekly check ins, customer reporting, and forecasting needs. and potential customers to increase revenue and profitability. Directly responsible for maintaining monthly performance of customers and profitability. Actively seek out new or recurring opportunities to grow the relationship. Identify and leverage relationships to grow outside of International with sales and appropriate lines of business domestic, warehousing, etc.) New Customer onboarding Act as Subject Matter Expert on all potential new opportunities Provide detailed reporting for all open orders and monitoring of customer supply line. Oversight management of customers' shipments. Ensure proper Coordination with agents and logistics teams to meet customer expectations. Proactive reporting of customer volumes, revenue, jobs, margin, and forecast to executive team and identify potential variations vs budget. Management of Cargo wise l reporting for assigned customers. Stay updated with industry trends, markets, and forecast to avoid potential customer downturns or impacts. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, international trade, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in freight forwarding, domestic transportation, customs brokerage, and international supply chains is highly desirable. A self-starter, able to problem solve issues without a lot of direction. Ability to multi-task and be able to work with different lines of business to achieve growth. Familiarity with logistic industries and procedures in a specific country or region of operation is necessary. Proficiency in computer applications, including customs software and systems is preferred. Strong knowledge of international trade, logistics, and supply chain. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
