We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an International Tax Director with individual income tax experience to join the team in our National office in a hybrid or remote capacity.


YOUR TEAM.


This position will support our National Tax Team, which in turn supports the firm's broader tax practice.
The right candidate will have a growth mindset and look for ways to expand their knowledge within both the tax space associated with their specialized services and varying industries.
They will also be eager to collaborate on thought leadership, webinars, and seminars while remaining results focused on assisting both internal and external clients in achieving their wide-ranging business goals.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

As an International Tax Manager, you will be focusing on tax compliance and planning for individuals.
Some of the main duties of this role include: Completing US tax compliance and planning duties of US expatriates (Section 911, FTC, etc) Completing US tax compliance and planning of US nonresidents Having knowledge of US voluntary disclosure programs Handling pre-immigration planning work Understanding US Exit tax Heavy experience with tax treaty analysis YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have: 10+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm Heavy international Tax experience required (specific to individuals) BS/BA accounting preferred; MST preferred or LLM preferred; CPA or JD required Demonstrated writing skills a must; proposal development experience desired Demonstrated compliance, management and review skills Strong tax research and writing skills Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software Studies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
