Tesla's Security Intelligence team is responsible for protecting the company's intellectual property of its products, services, and infrastructure from cyber threats.

As a Computer Forensics and eDiscovery Specialist on the Tesla Security Intelligence team, you will assist in the analysis and investigation of security incidents, including the collection and analysis of digital evidence.
You will work closely with our team of security professionals to identify and mitigate potential security threats, and to develop and implement new security measures to protect Tesla's systems and data.
You will also assist in the collection of data utilizing forensically sound techniques, provide support for eDiscovery tasks and conduct investigative searches across all available data points in response to legal and security matters.
Responsibilities Assist in the acquisition and analysis of digital evidence from various sources, including computers, mobile devices, and networks Conduct research and analysis of digital artifacts, including files, emails, and other data Assist in the development of reports and presentations summarizing findings and results Participate in the testing and validation of new tools and techniques Collaborate with other team members to identify and analyze digital evidence Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed Utilize technology to search data and records for electronically stored information Work closely with legal and cybersecurity teams to understand their eDiscovery needs Enhance and streamline eDiscovery processes to improve efficiency and transparency Requirements Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field with a graduation date between 2025 - 2026 Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Experience with programming languages, such as Python, C++, or Java is a plus Familiarity with Windows, MAC, Linux and/or Unix operating systems is a plus Knowledge of network protocols and architectures is a plus Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus Compensation and Benefits
