JOB SUMMARY:The Global Promotions Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals to gain valuable knowledge, skills and early career experience on a global marketing team. In this position, the intern will get the chance to work on a research project as well as charts, presentation decks, and key tasks for the team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates and updates reporting tools and charts for weekly/monthly distribution across departments.
Provides administrative support as needed for the department, including expense reports, monthly team calendars, sending documents for signature, supply orders, and scheduling as needed.
Attends calls & meetings and assists with team member's projects.
Completes competitive research project to present to team at the end of Internship.
Gains exposure to promotional and partnership marketing on a global scale.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Senior or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Marketing, Business, Media, Communications.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
Relevant Marketing experience preferred.
Interest or passion for Entertainment or Tourism industry preferred.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Consistent attendance.

This internship will be a hybrid experience, based in New York City, NY.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2025.
Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
