Internship - Vba Programmer For Ms Access

Numerica Corporation is an innovative small business that focuses on developing solutions for national defense. We are inviting talented college students to apply for a fall internship focused on using VBA to develop an internal Microsoft Access application for inventory management. Successful candidates will be able to perform the duties and responsibilities described below:
 
REQUIREMENTS:Proficiency in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and SQLDemonstrated experience developing user-friendly applications in Microsoft AccessCurrent enrollment as a sophomore or higher in a Computer Science degree program or related field, with a record of academic excellenceFamiliarity with inventory management and related business conceptsU.S. Person (i.e., U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the ongoing development of an internal MS Access application for inventory management, including the addition of new features and functionalityTest and debug the inventory management applicationEnhancements to the application to optimize queries, decrease latency, and improve overall responsiveness of the applicationOther duties, as assigned Intern Pay Range:$30.21 – $40.83 per hour, depending on years of education and related experienceThis is a part-time role, with nominally 16 hours per week.
