Interventional Cardiologist Needed For Locum Tenens Coverage At Facility In Muskegon, Michigan

A large multi-specialty hospital is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage. This facility is located in beautiful Muskegon, Michigan where you can take some time to unwind and go fishing, sailing, or boating. For another adventure, visit Pere Marquette Park or the USS Silversides Submarine Museum. This role provides inpatient STEMI call coverage, Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday to Sunday for 24-hour shifts, focusing on procedures and STEMI support. Responsibilities include weekday rounding and consults, averaging six consults and three procedures daily with an inpatient rounding list of approximately 24 patients. The role supports a local cardiology groups shift to outpatient services due to a provider shortage. The locum physician will work with two APPs for inpatient support, using EPIC for documentation, with adult and geriatric patients as the primary demographics. Estimated credentialing time is 90 days.
