OverviewRiverview's Heart and Vascular Center was opened in 2004.
The facility's 14,000 square feet is solely dedicated to heart care patients.
The state-of-the-art facility houses two fully digital cath labs.
The stand-alone heart center has nine outpatient beds.
ResponsibilitiesThe following are the primary responsibilities associated with this position:
Perform heart catheterizationsConduct PCI or angioplasty/stentsImplant pacemakersImplant defibrillatorsProvide 24/7 cardiology servicesAdditional DetailsBusy independent, two-provider cardiology groupInterventional cardiologyCall schedule – 1 in 5STEMI and cardiology call together3 independent IC that supports the hospital2 cath labs; one has been newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment, and the other is scheduled for renovations later this yearFull-time position mix of inpatient and outpatientPosition located in Gadsden, AL – just 1 hour away from Birmingham, AL and 2 hours from Atlanta, GAQualificationsCompany is an equal employment opportunity employer.
