Skill set must be maintained to handle suppliesinstrumentation associatedwith interventional procedures. Must be able to assist physicians in thecapacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitorssupplies and deficiencies. Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPEneeded. Maintains licensure and BLS. Stays current and participates departmentaltraining offered. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through politecommunication with all co- workerscustomers. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, bothinternal and external. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flowcare,helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorizedentries. A Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with lifesafety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Preventionrequirements. Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on departmentcommunications. **Experience Required** 1-2 year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular InterventionalTechnology preferred **Education Requirements** Graduate of AMA approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and thereforeregistry eligible.NJ DEP license required upon hire **LicenseCertification Requirements** Current BLS. Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License. Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
